Management Personnel:
Rex Caulfield - Managing Director
Rex established Genesis back in 1992 and since then, has grown Genesis
into the professional, committed 2-Way Radio and Wireless Broadband
company that it is today. He is still actively involved in the day
to day running of the company as well as the technical installation
and maintenance of the various repeater sites. Rex is recognised
within the communications industry as being one of the few true
experts in the field and is always willing to share his knowledge
and give advice when called upon.
Lissy Pone - Administration Manager
An integral part of the Genesis team, Lisi fulfils her role as Administration
Manager with precision and dedication. Fully involved in all aspects
of the business, Lisi is able to ensure that all the daily operations
at Genesis are carried out efficiently and that all financial accounts
and reports are in order. Because of such dedication, Lisi is a
vital team member in the company's ongoing success.
Dean Smith - Technical Services Director
Dean has been with Genesis since 1996. His technical knowledge and
prowess is well known throughout the industry and has solved many
problems for clients that were thought to be near impossible. A
critical part of the Genesis team, Dean not only takes on the technical
challenges of the business, but is always willing to lend a hand
in the more complex matters of Sales and Rentals as well as staff
training in products, systems and services.
Michelle Mataiti - Rentals Business Manager
Michelle joined Genesis Communications in January 2009 and comes
from a wide back-ground in the Telecommunications Industry. Coming
from Telecom (Retail, Retention and Corporate Mobile) she has been
able to implement her strong customer retention abilities in keeping
the Rentals department flowing, while taking on the challenge to
grow the department further, into becoming one of the best providers
in the industry for rental equipment.
Sales Team:
Jun Buena - Business Development Executive
Jun has extensive experience in the Information Communications Technology
(ICT) industry, developing new business through direct account management
and manages partner distribution channels. His ability to analyse
requirements and build fantastic customer relationship has proven
to be of great value in ensuring the business growth of KorKor's
digital two-way radio and Motorola wireless broadband solutions
of Genesis Communications.
Shayne Mclean - Business Development Executive
Shayne brings to the Genesis team a wealth of knowledge after being
in the telecommunications Industry for 11 years. An experienced
Business Development Manager and Account Manager, specializing in
VoIP, Shayne has proven success in using a proactive approach when
identifying business opportunities and building effective client
relationships. His ability in the analysis of client needs and current
market trends, is a great advantage, as his input will help to not
only ensure the growth of Genesis, but the growth of his customers
also.
Simon Caulfield - Sales Executive
Before starting with Genesis, Simon was attending University studying
Graphics design and had designed pamphlets and advertising posters
for Genesis. Simon started full time with Genesis in 2007 and was
trained in installations and repairs. Simon is now back at University
studying for his Bachelor in Business and Marketing, and works part
time in the sales department focusing on companies within the Auckland
Airport, including, Menzies Aviation, Singapore Airlines and Air
NZ (Auckland). Simon took on the role as Sales Executive, managing
his current portfolios, while growing the sales division with newcomers
JetStar and others.
Rentals:
Lana Veremiyenko - Rentals Co-ordinator
A native of Ukraine, Lana moved to New Zealand in 2008. Since being
in New Zealand, she has been in Sales positions with various freight
and distribution companies. Willing to take on the challenge of
helping the rentals department grow, Lana undertakes the day to
day operations of rentals department, including the programming
of radios, taking and handling rentals enquiries and ensuring all
rentals customers are being well looked after.
Technical Service Team:
Rajesh Kumar - Field Service Technician
Raj commenced at Genesis in March 2005. He is a qualified aircraft
engineer and prior to starting at Genesis was working in mechanical
and electrical engineering in Fiji. He has certainly proven to be
very thorough and meticulous with installations & general technical
service work.
Steve Hall - Field Service Technician
Joining Genesis in May 2008, Steve comes to us with more than 8
years experience as a Radio Technician. Steve's varied knowledge
in the industry has proven to be an asset to Genesis and continues
to help grow our technical team. Steve has a Technicians Certificate
in Telecommunications and Electronics and is currently studying
for Cisco CCNA.
Max Alexander - Service Technician
Max has been working as an independent contractor for the Service
department at Genesis since 2000. He received his technical training
with Motorola when they had a service division in NZ. Max is experienced
in the maintenance of products used for communications in public
safety situations as well as standard communication products.
In house Accountant:
Rodney Vialoux
Rodney has been the long-standing In House accountant for Genesis
for 14 years during which time he has kept the books in order. His
attention to detail is outstanding - with No 'i' left undotted or
't' left uncrossed. Rodney has also been a valuable source of legal
information & advice to the company.
